NY400 Week / Holland on the Hudson presents Pioneers of Change, a festival of Dutch design, fashion and architecture on New York's Governors Island to celebrate 400 years of Dutch-American friendship. House 6A: Harlem / Haarlem About Platform21 Platform21 is a design platform aiming to positively influence the relationship between user and product. Through projects Platform21 questions today’s society, connects amateur and professional creativity, reveals the making process, and stimulates dialogue and the sharing of creative knowledge. Platform21 shows and shares the process of creation and use it as a powerful way to engage a broad audience in diverse aspects of design. It opens up the assumption that design is a professionals’ creative discipline only.	Since 2006 Platform21 has been using a former, round chapel in Amsterdam as its public laboratory. Here they have initiated and organized exhibitions, research projects, workshops, lectures, discussions and club nights.
